"Man do i hate Miss thacker!!" ellie exclaimed after the last bell of the day rung throughout the school. "she is annoying!! all she ever does is critasize," she slowly walked in the middle of the sea of students who were rushing to get out of school. During her rant, she didnt realize someone had come up behind her (and no, not that way ¬_¬ dirty people)
"Who's annoying?" they asked, scaring Ellie out of her skin. With a scream she turned to face one of her friends, Kerry (yay^^ im in it) "Miss Thacker, that's who!"
"Why? what did she do this time?" Kerry asked, curious as to why her friend was so wound up
"well, first she started on about my art work then she let us use leaves to draw....LEAVES!!!! how sad is that!?! We are in 6th form...we shouldn't be doind what her year 7's are doing!!"
"Yeah...that is bad..... but maybe she'll be hit my a bus on the way home." Kerry smiled
"I can only hope and pray, hope and pray." both of them burst out laughing as they went to meet Ellie's brother Jordan.
     The three of them walked slowly, in no rush to make it home despite it raining, while splashing each other with puddles.
"Hey Ellie?" Kerry said, gaining the other girl's attention
"What?"
"Do you wanna go to the park quickly?"
"Why?"
"Dunno, to have fun splashing in the puddles maybe?"
"But we already are," ellie said while looking down at her feet which were currently resting in a shallow puddle.
"Yes that may be true but they aren't big enough puddles for me" Kerry grined
"okay sure" Ellie let Jordan know where she was going before she left with her friend towards the deserted park.
     The two of them laughed loudly and happily as they ran in puddles, splashed each other and generally got wet. Neither of them knew how much time had really passed until Kerry's phone went off, sighing, she answered it only to be told to head home as it was getting late.
"You coming Ellie?" Kerry asked as she got off the swing she had been sitting on
"Yeah, I just wanna go down the slide again then I'll go home, you go though, we don't need you to get in trouble now do we?"
"No, i suppose we don't. Okay then, be careful and speak to you on AOL." Kerry laughed
"Okay, cya." ellie waved as she watched her friend disappear into the curtain of rain. Slowly, ellie stood from her swing and made her way carefully through the park towards the slide that stood alone in the rain. Leaving her bag on the floor underneath the slide, ellie climbed the steps but sat at the top facing away from the slide. As she sat there, she remebered something Kerry had said to her on their way home. She had said,
"Okay, to get your mind off of 'Little Hitler' (this is a real nickname for a real teacher^^) think of what I'm about to say. Yugi Moto standing in the rain, in his leather top and trousers drenched to the bone, showing his body off. His hair sticking to his face, his choker on his neck with a chain attached without the millenium item. And he smiling as he outstretches his hand for you to take before he says 'I've been waiting for a long time for you'." a smile appeared on ellie's face as she remembered that specific image as a ice cold wind caused her body to shiver which in turn caused her to lose balance.
     Somehow Ellie had managed to stay in an up-right position as she slide down the slide. Closing her eyes, she waited for the impact she knew was coming but when she didn't hit the ground, she opened her eyes and gasped as she felt arms wrap around her small frame. A soft chuckle alerted Ellie that a guy was holding round the waist tightly. Fearfully, she looked up and gasped as her light green eyes locked with soft, amythyst. Stunned into to silence, Ellie's eyes traveled up the face to the tri-coloured hair that clung to the man's face, framing his eyes nicely. Another chuckle snapped ellie out of her trance and back to his eyes. Her eyes widened in recognition as her voice refused to work. How was he here? who knows.....not even the laws of physics could explain this miracle but that didn't matter because what did was that Ellie was now sitting between Yugi Moto's legs with his arms wrapped round her waist securely in the pouring rain. A blush came full force so she buried her head into his chest, hoping he didn't see her blush, but unfortunately for her, he did. but he didn't make fun of her, instead he held her tighter as he whispered in her ear,
"I've been waiting for you for a long time." not trusting her voice, Ellie nodded showing him that she heard him. yugi responded by tightening his grip on her as they both sat at the bottom of the slide, holding each other close, ignoring everything around them.
